There’s something about the holidays that convinces people they’re expert chefs. You’re cooped up at home with lots of free time, you keep seeing recipes for delicious cookies and other treats online and in the New York Times, and you start thinking, “Hey, it can’t be that hard!” Then you pour molten sugar onto your marble countertop and destroy it in the process.

This year proved that the internet could create a whole film marketing campaign without a millennial white marketing girlie even having to clock in. It proved that sitcom promotion images on Getty were not safe from viral meme-ing. And most importantly, it proved that if you drop the words rizz, Ohio, “gyat” (not a word btw), skibiddi toilet, and Baby Gronk in a sentence you were well on your way to being to coolest person to a 5th grader.

One of the few things that unites people on the internet is when they can come together and hate that week’s main character, and this latest example is a doozy.
